Is Online Business Outsourcing Important?

June 6th, 2007 | No comments

I’ve been running my online business for about 2 years now. When I first began, I wasn’t thinking about outsourcing work to others, rather I was soaking in as much knowledge as possible. I thought outsourcing to be a last resort only when I absolutely HAD to do it.

Times have changed and I’ve turned my online business into a full-time job. Along the way I’ve learned the true value of outsourcing.

The fact is, in most cases, you are not an expert at marketing, design, developing etc. You may very well be an expert at one or two of them but most likely you are not an expert at everything.

What many people don’t realize is the the fact that most of the popular products created by “Gurus” were not actually created by the “guru” you think. Most of these products were thought up by the “gurus” but the creation was outsourced.

The problem many marketers have, especially “newbies” is they do not have thousands of dollars to outsource an idea. What I would suggest is to visit a few of the authority, specialty sites like http://www.rentacoder.com/ and http://www.elance.com/

This is a suggestion many of you have probably heard a million times. When I’m looking to outsource writing I go into forums but when I’m looking for a software developer I always turned to these sites. There are THOUSANDS of GOOD coders and developers out there that will create complex software for you for a very reasonable price. Many of these guys and gals come from foreign Countries where the U.S. Dollar, Britain Pound and Euro is worth MUCH more than their currency making it very easy to find good developer that will “work for peanuts.”

When it comes down to it outsourcing is VERY profitable. Don’t think of it as a waste of money think of it as a very good investment!
