I've just had really good luck finding things that were unique. I usually try to mess around with them just a bit to make them a little more special...but they are probably less customized in that way than you'd think. Things have gotten more complicated, though, now that Matt Mullenweg made the decision to kick all the sponsored blog themes off the Wordpress themes site. Makes it MUCH harder to find great ones. Frankly, THAT's a business opportunity (a killer themes site, searchable, open to everyone) that it's hard to believe no one has picked up yet. I've got several blogs going now: http://spiffles.com http://freemusicgroup.com http://recommendables.chuckbrown.com http://braindump.chuckbrown.com I'm pretty happy with the "look" of all of them.
