I think sticking to one method of link baiting and getting good at it works.

I write articles every day and submit them to the directories. It fulfils both worlds to me, it gives people sold advice and if you write a quality articles, (like I always do) it’s picked up by several webmasters and they put it on their website giving me more links back to my site.

It’s all good…

Great list. Yes, I write plugins as link bait. To work, you have to find something people want to use.

The fact is, most people just remember ‘create controversy’, which works for some bloggers. Most bloggers do better using other forms of linkbait.

Well, I realised that I create better link baits if I actually think about doing it. Another idea would be to target certain areas or communities when coming up with linkbait so you know they will pick it up and spread from there.

Btw, the new look is pretty neat! You must like that light brownish greenish colour that your side-bar is in…

even this would turn out to be a pretty good link bait..
another thing to go with this would be to have a lot of good posts already in place before starting a link bait.. it would increase your blog’s stickiness when people come from the links created through these baits…
