Residual Income through Ebooks and Products

June 15th, 2007 | 2 comments

Do you have an Ebook that you sell? How about a good peice of software that you developed or outsourced? Maybe a paid Ezine?

On average I make 2-4 sales per day with my Ebook “Article Marketing Domination.” Some of you may be thinking that’s the best thing since apple pie, while others may be think “who cares.”

The reason I’m writing this post is to let the “newbies” know that creating and marketing a product may not be as difficult as you think. It’s also to let the more experienced marketers know that if you aren’t selling a product, you’re missing out on some relatively easy money.

I wrote “AMD” because I’ve had great success with Article Marketing and I bet, whether you realize it or not, you are an expert at something as well.

It doesnt have to be related to Internet Marketing. Just sit down, concentrate and start writing on a subject you know a great deal about. Concentrate on making it as usefull as possible!

When you’re done create a sales page. Take a look at some of the top marketers sales pages for ideas.

Once you’re done put it up on ClickBank. Now start promoting it just like you do any other Website. This can be done with articles, which is the main technique I use to promote my product.

You may also want to contact some of the major players in your niche. Let them know that you have a very valuable product and they can earn $x amount with every sale.

This is a very general outline of how to do it but it really isn’t that hard. Just take action go from there.

If you need any help along the way let me know!

I’ve thought about doing this but I’m not sure about dealing with the customer service aspect of this. How much of your time does dealing with customers use up?

Hi Marc, generally it’s not too bad. I get the occasional customer with a million questions, but overall the customer questions are pretty quick and easy. I now have 5 products that bring in sales on a regular basis and the customer support isn’t bad at all.

A few of my products have gotten some good exposure ie dealdotcom and big name promotions. Even during and after those promotions there weren’t a great deal of customer support issues.
