5 Reasons to Pimp your Logo on Holidays
October 26th, 2007 | 5 commentsDid the new header scare you?
Sean Lowery over at http://www.minisitegraphics.com/ has been doing my graphics lately and he never ceases to amaze me. He’s truly one of the most talented graphics guys I’ve ever used.
I’ve done several holiday themes for other sites in the past, but this is the first for this blog. The following are some good reasons to do the same:
1. Because Google does it. (bad joke)
2. If you’re dedicated enough to have a custom header and/or theme done for special occasions, you more than likely take the site/blog very seriously and your readers will catch that.
3. It could turn into good link bait.
4. It could increase comments if it’s a blog. People like to compliment or degrade new looks of blogs they regularly visit.
5. It gives you a good reason to write a post titled “5 reasons to pimp your logo on holidays.” ![]()

Hi Josh,
To be honest , I like the look and feel of your blog.
Its simple and yet attractive, Kind of like what you
always say.. “sometimes less is more”.
Do you have a suggestion about anyone
who’s good at setting up a Wordpress blog?
Also, I’m going to check out Sean’s offer on
minisite graphics. Perhaps the holiday theme
you mentioned would be a good start.
Am I right to say that we should start
thinking about Christmas themes?
Cheers,
Vern

@Vern, Thanks alot. Sean actually has a new service building custom WP themes, but I’m not sure if it’s 100% up and running. Your best bet would be to just contact him through the site above and ask. He’s the go to guy for stuff like that!! Yep I’ll probably have him do a christmas theme as well.
@Stephen, didn’t think of that one, but you’re right
