Off to Germany for a Few Weeks
November 27th, 2007 | 12 commentsMany of you know I recently moved back to the States in May of this year after 5 years in the Army overseas. My first duty station in 2002 after Basic Training and Advanced Individual Training was Babenhausen, Germany. Not long after I arrived we were deployed to Iraq for a year where we met up with 3ID for the initial invasion.
After the deployment I arrived back to Germany and it wasn’t long before I met my wife, Claudia. Although I obviously would have stayed for her, I loved Germany and had planned on continuing my enlistment there anyway.
After 5 years we moved to Evansville, IN with our new son, Aaron.
Now it’s time to go back and visit friends and family, so we’ll be staying in Frankfurt with her mother, who doesn’t have an Internet connection. SO I’ll be hanging out at the local Internet HotSpots so I can continue to work and post here.
If you’re in the Frankfurt area let me know. I’d love to meet some of you guys and gals.
I’m also happy to announce that I’ve been invited to write for http://www.bloggingtips.com/ so you’ll be seeing my musings around there as well. I know, you just can’t get away from me
Anyway, I just wanted to update everyone as to whats going on over at my end and to let you know that although I’ll be away, I’m going to try my hardest to post daily as usual.
Looking forward to meeting some of my Deutsches Freundin for some Gluhwein
I know my Deutsch is horrible!

I’m sure you’ll have a blast. I’ve been to Berlin twice this year for friends (2nd time for a stag do). I’d love to travel around Germany a bit more though, my friends were there for the world cup last year and said it was excellent plus a few others have been to octoberfest.

Dan here from Germany.
Dein deutsch ist wirklich schrecklich, aber Du kannst ja demnächst ein bischen üben ;~))
Duplicate content issues brought me to the warrior forum, where I read your post an clicked your link:
http://warriorforum.com/forum/topic.asp?TOPIC_ID=198585&SearchTerms=duplicate+content
Still not sure, how to avoid to waste a lot of time and beeing slapped for the same content on my homepage, salespage, blog, forum posts and articles.
Anyway, gute Reise und eine schöne Zeit hier in Deutschland,
Gruss,
Daniel

Thanks for the kind words everyone. I’m here at a friends now, catching up on email and hopefully getting ready to write part 2 of the ebook guide.
@ Dan, Ja Ich Weiss (my German is indeed bad) my 9 month old son isn’t old enough to teach me yet
I’ll add “duplicate content explained” to the blog post ideas list, so hopefully you’ll have a better understanding when I do that.
@SES, ah have fun. I can’t get on post anymore (Military ID is expired.) If you’re in the Darmstadt/Hanau/Frankfurt area let me know so you can get me some stuff from the PM haha

Hey Josh,
Good to know you arrived safe and sound.
Happy holidays to you and yours – I’ve only just caught up with reading your latest as I’ve been extremely busy and Nikki and I are apartment hunting. (Gave AM Domination some ad space at the new directory
