Sorry I have not posted anything on your site lately but I wanted to thank you for the new Easy SEO Report…

I’m going to be a bit more careful who I link with from now on…. I was not aware that much sharing was done…I’m also adding more links between my own pages which seems to be a way to keep most of the juice on your site.

@ Michael – Once you subscribe to receive the report an account will automatically be created for you. Once you’re in the download area you’ll see a link at the top “Earn Money.” That’s where you’ll get your referral link.

Great job.

The one thing that could be improved is by making it more obvious that the ebook is ‘FREE’!

At first glance it looks like yet another of those big sales letter pages that eventually asks you to part with money…

Hi Josh,

This is a general question about SEO rather than about the report in particular, hope that is OK.

Does a high bounce rate (about 80%) mean I need to alter my content?

It may be related – the traffic I get from referral sites (almost entirely Stumbles) is about 70% of my traffic and doesn’t seem to affect my subscriber numbers (I get a spike and then the traffic returns to the same level as before).

Any ideas you have extremely welcome. Thanks

I’ve never looked too deep into bounce rates. There are just too many factors that would need to be analyzed before coming to a definitive answer.

StumbleUpon traffic is not quality traffic. Many of the users are just browsing pages, giving them a thumbs up or down and moving on. They aren’t buyers and they typically come and go very quickly.

I wouldn’t worry about it.
